On campus, there is typically always something going on. UVM has many division 1 athletic teams (though no football) so you can go to a game. If there isn't anything happening on campus that interests you, in town there is ECHO (the Lake Champlain lake center that has multiple exhibits about the lake and the wildlife), Church Street, and Nectar's to name a few. If you want to get away there is the beach as well as the many ski resorts that are close by.

There isn't much to do for fun here if you're not really into partying. Every weekend that's what most of the kids do. Downtown Burlington is just right down the street but it gets old pretty fast.

Burlington is amazing! It has a great night life, Church Street is phenomenal for shopping/restaurants, Lake Champlain has lots of beaches for relaxation (plus, it's just gorgeous), and the slopes are nearby. There are two malls within 25 minute walking distance from campus, but Church Street is where it's at. The location is easily the best thing about UVM.

Lots of stuff organized by various groups, lots of clubs and club sports, and adventures like hiking or other outdoor outings with the popular Outing Club.

There are lots of things to do on campus, and in downtown Burlington. on Saturday mornings there is a local farmers market, you can go skiing and snowboarding on the weekends, The outing club is also a great way to explore all natural Vermont. They have trips almost every weekend. Trips include all types of things including hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, ice climbing, and more! There is also a few fun parks downtown where you can swim in Lake Champlain or have nice picnics.

Burlington is an amazing place with so much do to whether it is going to Church St for dinner, to shop, or just hang around. Lake Champlain is a wonderful place to watch the sunset and North Beach when the weather is nice is a great place to relax.

Go to church street if you're bored, there are so many fun things to do down there! The music scene in Burlington is on point so don't be afraid to expand your music horizon and listen to some new stuff.

Hike, winter sports, hockey games, concerts, Church Street (downtown Burlington), and UVM is a party school if that's what you're into.

The city of Burlington has so much to do! There's the waterfront of Lake Champlain, Church Street (a pedestrian walk!), a few small concert venues, and tons of shops and boutiques. Burlington is also just 90 minutes out of Montreal by car.

There is so much to do for fun at UVM. Students love to smoke and drink but that's only the beginning. Go to the local woods for a hike, harass the outing club until they let you take a trip with them, climb trees on Redstone, walk around Burlington for take a ski bus to your favorite slope in the winter. There is no shortage of things to do here for people who will just leave their dorms.
