  • Most of the dorms on campus aren't that bad, but it's not the best. If you're a girl, stay away from Watson Hall which is the all girls dorm. …

There are many different choices to choose from with two dining halls. Both serve good food.

If you like pizza and salad, you will be good every day. There are a lot of choices to eat between the two dining halls and the food court of Chick-fil-a, Subway, and some other restaurants. The food court recently got a Jamba Juice too. It's pretty good for the price.

The food in the dining halls is not exactly five star material, but as a freshman, you have to pay for it, so you should eat it. The food available at the Community Center is delicious, but it is kind of expensive for a college budget. Also, I am a vegetarian, and there are not a lot of options anywhere on campus.

The options are endless and the campus dining offers a wide variety of foods. There are numerous off campus dining facilities that students can explore but definitely options for your taste buds and budget

The University of West Georgia offer many different options when it comes to food. You can eat at the dining halls for traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. You can also visit the many restaurants that are around the campus, such as subway, chick-fil-a, mcdonalds, and more. The food is very healthy and there is usually always something new being served!

The Z6 has the safest food, and the drink variety is nice, but its not as big as East commons, The food there is generally more static and fried chicken Wednesdays is pretty nice. East commons' is good for the mongolian grill and the bigger options, but often times they fall short in terms of qualities. There's Chick-fil-a which is always good, a subways above, Starbucks (busy in the mornings and during finals), Eisenstein Bagels, which is pretty good , and a couple other options.

Maybe joining a sorority or fraternity on campus would be a good idea if you go to UWG since then you will have friends to talk to that can help you figure out why the courses are designed so poorly, why no one who manages the school offices knows what's going on, and why your coursework is so time-consuming and unmanageable that you have no time to sleep or live your life.

The greek life's fun for those who are in it, some organizations are pretty cool and try and reach out, others are pretty close knit, so its kind of hard to interact with some. That being said, there are some great people within their organizations, just depends on how well you get along with them.

Greek Life is amazing - fourteen sororities and thirteen fraternities - six of them being apart of the National Pan-Hellenic. All of them have a minimum requirement for GPA and hold various events throughout the year - both social events and volunteer work.

Our Greek Life plays a big role here on campus. Personally, I would recommend waiting until your sophomore year, or at least rush Spring during your freshman year. I am so glad I waited to rush because I got to find out more about the sororities here on campus over the past two semesters; things you can't learn in a few days. Our Greek Life is the biggest social network this campus has to offer. It's either rush or be a GDI, Gosh Darn* Independent. I had this idea of what Greek life was prior coming to college, but West Ga Greek Life definitely changed that out look. Can't wait to rush fall. Go wolves!

Greek life is very fun and exciting. However, if you feel the need to want to withdraw from your sorority, many are very hateful and rude about you wanting to quit. Some girls will be very crude to you after quiting.
