I seem to learn something new everyday! Whether it's in class or one of the many different clubs or events offered here, the University of West Georgia teaches its students something important everyday. They have an abundance of classes to take depending on your interest and the teachers are extremely helpful and actually want to help! You don't find that at every school.

I have been going to UWG for three years now and I absolutely love it. The staff here is always willing to help and there are many resources provided to help you if you’re unsure about something. There are a lot of things to do on campus and away from campus.

University of West Georgia is a great school. The location is nice, it's like the town is only for the school. Everywhere you go you see something that might say "UWG", its just cute. The school also has a great balance between doing your work and having fun. People say it's a party school but I think that would be exaggerating.

UWG prides itself on lack of communication with its students once they are enrolled, this keeps its students enrolled and they get more money when their graduation dates are extended an extra three or four semesters.

  • Mar-27-2017 I am researching this school and have visited the campus

I visited this West Georgia during their Winter Preview Day 2017, and really enjoyed it. They had all the info you could ask for for every major/minor they offer, along with all the different activities and clubs you could go/do. I really liked this school, and I'm hoping to attend in Fall 2017.

The University of West Georgia is settled in a small yet bustling town of Carrollton, Georgia. The school takes pride in making a positive impact on the local community, evidenced by receiving the Tree Campus USA award from the Arbor Day Foundation in 2015. Our campus remains a beautiful place for students of all walks of life to come and live, work, and study.

I have visited this school on a couple of occasions and both times I've been very impressed with what I've seen. The campus is very clean and orderly and that includes the dorms. Everything is within reach and you don't have to walk too far to reach your destination.

UWG has a beautiful campus but it is kind of spread out a bit. The school has friendly professors that will help you if you ask and use the office hours as they will appreciate it and recognize you later. the school has a nice vibe and it's not hard to make friends and don't be afraid to say hello to someone next to you in class!
