The list goes on FOREVER. A few that I am personally interested in: the rowing team (although time consuming and rigorous, a great way to meet people and stay in shape, plus the athlete perks are astounding), the badger games (even if you don't like football, its super fun to stand in that sea of red and get hyped with all of your friends), the sailing team, and so many more! also there is an annual snowball fight: southeast dorms vs. lakeshore on Babcock hill!

Attend some sporting events! Even though UW students have to pay for tickets to the sporting events, it is $168 plus a $20 processing fee for one of the coveted seats at all 7 of the Badger home football games. Definitely worth the money.

There are always things going on every day, whether it be at one of the two unions, in the dorms, or at a student organization meeting.

The UW-Madison campus has something for everyone and any time of the year. You have Lake Mendota right outside the classroom when it's warm. You can sled down Bascom hill when it's cold. You can walk around state street and find shops of all sorts and an insane variety of eclectic food carts and restaurants. You're moments from various concert venues, the free zoo, running/bike trails and seriously anything you can think of. Not to mention the amazing sporting events you should most definitely attend as a Badger...there's nothing like a UW-Madison football game.

Sitting by the terrace, playing frisbee, walks on the lakeshore path, live music, farmers market, shopping on state street, museums, sporting events, trying a million types of new food on state street, walk through the capitol. THE OPPORTUNITIES ARE SERIOUSLY ENDLESS!!

There is always something going on, from movies at Union South to parties and concerts. Sports are great to watch here as well. You can always grab a couple of friends and take the time to try every restaurant on State Street!

For fun, walk down State Street and go into all the local shops, head to the Capitol building and go up to the top lookout, or take the bus to one of the four malls close to campus. If you are in to the partying lifestyle, there are parties practically every night.

If you really want to have some fun, make some friends and hang out with them. But if you don't have any friends don't worry. You can take a trip down State Street and sample all the delectable restaurants the city has to offer. You can walk down Lakeshore Path and take in the wonderful scenery. You can even go down to Union South and watch a movie.
