Super affordable for everyone, even out of state kids like me. They also deliver a great education compared to the surrounding schools.

UW is the most affordable university for out-of-state students in the United States. It's constantly rated #1 for value. Immediately after acceptance, I received scholarship and award information in the mail. UW makes education affordable.

UW has one of the lowest tuition rates, especially for students from Wyoming itself. However, this does not mean that our academics are any less appealing. I really enjoy UW and what frustrates me most is when people say that they are only going here because it is 'cheap'. So if you do not want to go to Laramie and are thinking of only coming here because it is cheap, please don't. Go some place you are going to love and be happy. I am very happy here in Laramie, and it dissapoints me when I see people who are not.
