  • Jan-10-2016 I am researching this school and have visited the campus

I personally think it's a great bang for your buck. I was offered the large scholarship, so I don't have to pay as much - saying that I am out of state. With the scholarship, the tuition is around what I would have to pay for South Dakota schools without scholarships.

University of Wyoming is one of the most affordable D1 universities in the nation. Wyoming takes pride in the education it provides at it's only university for the cost of attending there. It's very common to hear people say that the reason they picked UW was because it's cheap, and what makes that even better is that you get the big (but not too big) university feel with it. The level of academics that UW provides is top of the line, and the various other activities and opportunities they provide are well worth every penny. If you're looking for a school to get the most bang for your buck, you have come to the absolute right place! Also, UW gives out thousands in scholarship money every year...they absolutely want to help make college affordable for everyone.

This school has literally the cheapest tuition rate ever. And even if your out of state, there is pretty much no way that you will pay full tuition, even before fafsa.

Super affordable for everyone, even out of state kids like me. They also deliver a great education compared to the surrounding schools.
