The University of the District of Columbia is the only public institution in Washington, DC. It is a land-grant university and a member of the Thurgood Marshall Fund. UDC is an HBCU with an open admissions policy. Legal studies, foundations of education, and human development are top fields of study.
The campus is in the process of renovation and is very nice and accessible via metro train. The architecture department has become a clean and upscale department. The professors and departmental employees are attentive and responsive.

It's an amazing place where you can share special experiences with family and friends. The classes are really good and you get to see new things that probably you didn't know about DC. You have many resources on campus so that you won't have to worry for a thing.
