University of Worcester Campus Life

Students' Union

The Students' Union is an independent charity, devoted to the educational interests and welfare of all students studying at the University. Its members are all students (full-time and part-time) registered for a course of study with the University of Worcester, unless they specifically choose to opt out of membership.

The Students' Union offers you a great chance to escape the every-day and throw yourself into other pursuits by providing a range of societies. Being part of a society is a great way to meet new people with similar interests to yourself and also give you a more rounded university experience.

Work Experience

Students can work Worcester County Cricket Club, Worcester Wolves, Aston Villa FC, Birmingham City FC and West Bromwich Albion FC, with support in the areas of performance analysis, fitness and nutrition advice.

You can get into the sporting spirit and come and watch renowned sporting events all year round at the University Arena. You can also get into the school spirit by supporting the Universities own teams by coming to watch our annual Varsity sporting series between the University of Gloucestershire and the University of Worcester.

All of the University of Worcester's sports teams and clubs are run by Worcester Students' Union. Our sports clubs offer a great social platform in which to meet students who share your sporting interests. Many of our clubs and teams compete nationally against other Universities as part of the BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) Leagues and Championships and we have a number of very successful teams here at Worcester. However, if competitive sport isn't for you, there are also a number of recreational opportunities or social memberships on offer as well. So whether you're serious about sport or just want to take part recreationally, there will be something for you!
