Try to get to know your professors and attend office hours when you can. The class sizes are small so when you get to know your professor and put in the effort it is always noted and helps in the long run- especially if you begin to struggle on a topic. Also, all work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy, isn't a bad quote to live by at UC. Academics should take priority, but make sure to take a break to work out, go for a walk, or go out. The school is small so if you want to have one on one attention you will get it. There is many research opportunities so if you have the opportunity you should take charge of it. Also maintain communication with your professors because they are the ones to write you recommendations for any programs that you might want to apply to in the future.
