Visit nothingtodoinlogan.com There is always something going on either on campus or just around town. There is country swing dancing every Wednesday during the summer, and every Monday and Wednesday during the school year. There are art exhibits, and the town is very close to the canyon, where there are some beautiful hiking trails (my personal favorite).

There are a few movie theaters, a bowling/skating alley nearby, and an ice skating rink, but most of what you will want to do for fun will be outdoors activities. If you like the outdoors than Logan is the place to be. There are many hikes near by, such as the wind caves, and Bear Lake is only a short drive away. Utah State also provides rentals of almost any equipment you would need, including snow shoes.

Utah is a great place for outdoorsy people. Campus backs right up to the mountains, offering a great opportunity for hiking, biking, running, and skiing.

In Logan, UT, you are right near the mountains, which is great if you love the outdoors. You are able to hit the Logan River to see if you can catch a fish, or maybe hop on your off-road vehicle and take a ride on the trails. There are plenty of movie theaters if you are a movie fanatic, and many places to dine in for dinner as well.

There are plenty of ways to have fun if you know how to! You can go skiing at Beaver or sled down Old Main in the winters, there are so many places to go swimming in the summer, take a drive down Logan Canyon or hike pretty much anywhere in the fall, Salt Lake is only an hour and a half away, and there are always things to do on campus!

You can go hiking, ice skating indoors or outdoors in the winter, skiing (there is a fantastic ski resort in Logan Canyon about 45 minutes from campus), showshoeing, sledding, go to a show at the Ellen Eccles Theater, thrift shop, volunteer at numerous charitable organizations, attend free events and activities at the Logan Tabernacle (a community church/fine arts events center), shop at local businesses including antique book stores, organic markets, global trade gift shops, fashion boutiques, etc., you can take community classes, visit the local gardener's market from April to October, go yard-saleing, attend local religious services and events, get involved with the Deaf community, volunteer with our chapter of Special Olympics, spend time with the elderly, party at the White Owl (the only bar here that I know of), etc.
