Great place to experience all the pluses of an SEC education, like Greek life and football, with the academics and research of an Ivy League. Nashville is a huge draw to Vanderbilt and is an amazing place to live! Definitely your place if you like to temper your work with some play, and are extremely well-rounded and outgoing.

I visited this university on a school trip a few years ago. What I remember most clearly is the beauty and welcoming vibe present at the campus, definitely a memorable visit! The tour guide was also very informative and friendly, a great representation of all Vanderbilt student, so if you visit- which you should- don't be afraid to ask questions!

Vanderbilt University is an institution geared towards challenging its students academically in order to ensure a successful future. However, there are resources such as 24-hour tutoring and extensive office hours to help with the rigorous work. With talented professors, stellar academic and research opportunities and an environment that fosters personal growth (not to mention spectacular food), there's a reason that Vanderbilt University students were rated the happiest in the nation.

The campus is so beautiful, but is the education worth the money? Are the classes too hard or just mildly challenging? Is the engineering program well developed?

How do you like the overall dynamic, does it feel like a big or small school? Is it worth the money? What was your GPA and ACT on your transcripts?

First off, the campus is beautiful. I went for their MOSAIC weekend and the students were very nice and welcoming. If invited, I would encourage everyone to attend MOSAIC.

It is No. 17 based on US News Best College Rankings for various aspects of what people want out of a college and graduation rate and retention performance, etc. It has invaluable research opportunities for those seeking great opportunities to further their education in their field. Vanderbilt offers a safe environment, superfluous options in dining, and spectacular opportunities to become the best you.

As a current graduate student at Vanderbilt I can attest to the difficulty in getting admitted. However, once you begin you will be glad that you chose a great university. The professors are encouraging and supportive, and the environment is conducive for success.
