Faculty members are beyond helpful.
Small class rooms, thus be able to understand a lot better.
Accredited by ABET for it's Engineering Courses.
Tips for prospective students
Take your time reviewing the courses they offer.
Before attending, meet the faculty, ask questions, and take a tour around campus.
Try as much as possible to decide what major your going for, so time won't be wasted.
Once attending the school, get to know everyone, be part of the family, ask as much questions as you like and study hard.
Academic Rigor
The school is pretty serious. It is all about achieving. Most of the students and classmates are pretty serious about their careers. Also most of them declare their major by their second semester.
Classes are not overcrowded. Each class has a projector, clean White board, comfortable seats, and great lighting system. Professors love to help as well as staff. If you make one step towards them, they make two steps towards you.
Dorm Life
They have dorms, i do not dorm since i live in the city. Big Parking lot. 40% of students complain about it. 60% are fine with it. Can't provide any further details due to lack of knowledge.
Food and Dining
Cafeteria is fairly good. They offer fresh cooked food everyday, as well as cold subs. They also offer a verity of drinks and food. Sushi is a plus.
What to do for fun
The school has a small GYM, and couple of pool tables by the cafeteria. That is pretty much it.
Bang for the buck
This is a good school, organized, clean, and full of energy. I judge a place by it's bathroom, and this school has very clean bathrooms.
You also feel that the professors really do care about you. They want to help you, it's like they really love their job.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
The school is pretty much basic, but they have this control tower looks exactly like the one in the airport except it's lower. Once you go up to the tower, you get this great view of Laguardia airport and you watch airplanes taking off and landing all day.
Great for these types of students
This school is great if your passionate about the aviation industry and all it's derivatives. After all it is called Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology.
Clubs and Activities
The School has about 6-8 clubs. Again it is a pretty small schools. However, the faculty wouldn't mind students starting their own clubs.
Greek Life
Doesn't exist.
Campus Safety
Security cameras are every where. If you lose your phone, the cameras will get them for you. Security office is pretty active.

Location is prime. Faculty is helpful. Many opportunities available.
Tips for prospective students
Know where you are going to be staying. The dorms can be quite expensive, but also worth the money to know you have a secure place to live.
Academic Rigor
Some classes can be hard, but they are all worthwhile.
Dorm Life
Perfect opportunity to make new friends and there are some great events and hangout times to gather and relax.
Food and Dining
There is a cafeteria located on campus. In all honesty, this is good when you only have a meal plan due to dorming, or if you need a quick pick-me-up. The food is good but if you want a real culinary experience, you're gonna wanna leave campus and explore all that NYC has to offer.
What to do for fun
It's NYC and the campus is right by the airport. 'Nuff said.
