    Get involved. Many student who come to VU say that there is nothing to do, yet there is. There is so much to do on campus, and to get involved in. Talk to your RAs or to the people at the Student Affairs office and you will find something to do. Go to the activities that are held. And don't be afraid to get involved.

    Be social! Don't be afraid to join clubs or get to know your fellow students. You'll want to form study groups and have close friends in your classes. Also, always make sure to use the Academic Support Center whenever you can or need to.
