There are a lot of things to do for fun. The city throws events and VCU itself throws events. Also joining student groups help. I mostly do things with my group, BCM. You can also explore the James and take the bridge to Belle Isle. There are also a lot of museums all around VCU.

There is so much to do, both on campus and off! On campus, relaxing in Monroe Park is a lovely way to spend a warm afternoon. Richmond is overflowing with culture and activities, so numerous movie theaters, parks, restaurants, museums, art galleries and more are nearby.

The basketball games are exicting to go to. If you don't like to watch sports than there are many activities like mountain bike riding, rock climbing, hiking, water rafting, etc.. to do with the Cary street gym. If you're not into sports at all than there are events for the art students to attend. Around the campus are also many museums to visit.
