Virginia Tech is a widely recognized college that has a solid research background. The college caters to engineering and Agriculture since it is a land grant university. Because the college is a Land Grant School, it is one of the best place in Virginia and nationwide to go for an agriculture degree (I am majoring in Landscape Contracting- a branch of Horticulture. And I do have possible job opportunities already as a freshman.)

Pretty cheap school for how nationally recognized it is. I had to take some loans out to go here but after 2 years there i owe about 8k which isnt terrible for two years of school. If i finished up at tech i probably would have ended up around 25k in debt which is about the average I believe for students coming out of college. It is pretty affordable for how great some of the services are.
