I love it here and I'm so glad that I go to VSU! You meet great people here and in a lot of cases, some people become like family to you. I have made some mistakes, but that was all my fault and I am changing that. You just have to be focused here and do not be afraid to ask people for help. A lot of people are willing to help you any way that they can if you're willing to help yourself. I would not trade this experience for the world!Read More
I think any high school student will diffidently have fun at Virginia State. There are so many things to do when have free time away from studying. The campus is beautiful and there are many different stores and a mall to go to on the weekends. It was such a big help to me that there was a bus that goes from campus to the surrounding areas because I could go shopping when I had time and if I needed to go the doctor's office, I was able to get to it by bus. At night though it can be a bit dangerous if you're by yourself, but that's with any college campus so it's best to be with friends. Besides the things you can do off campus there's also plenty of organizations that you can join and be apart of. If you don't want to join an organization, the different organizations hold different forums and activities all the time that you can attend without joining. It can be a very positive environment, as long as you don't get into trouble.Read More
I love VSU and encourage all the graduating seniors from my high school to attend. There are all types of organizations and events that occur throughout the year for all types of people. There is rarely ever a dull day on the yard.Read More
