    The campus will not be as great as you think. The dorms are really old and it doesn't feel safe. There is only one renovated dorm, but it costs $600 more just to live there. So if you do not have that money, you are basically stuck in a boring, old dorm.

    It is recommended you have a car. The opportunity to participate in activities is better if you have your own transportation. Late night meetings and rehearsals are easier to access since the closest bus stop is several blocks away at night.

    I would like to begin by saying I love Virginia Union University. Not saying that VUU doesn't have aspects that I don't like, but I still love being a student here. When I first came to Virginia Union I thought I wouldn't be very sociable nor make many friends, but thankfully I was wrong. I have made many friends and have mentally grown substantially.
