Waubonsee Community College is a public, 2-year institution with a main location near Chicago, Illinois, in Sugar Grove. Waubonsee has three satellite locations, as well, two in Aurora and one in Plano. The community college offers two types of transfer degrees, an Associate in Arts (AA) and an Associate in Science (AS), career and technical education programs, as well as flexible learning options—which include earning certificates and degrees entirely online. Eligible high school students can enroll in the college’s Dual Credit, Upward Bound, and SOAR Summer Classes programs in order to get ahead in their future college careers.
