While the bathrooms may not be the prettiest, this is one of the most affordable non-community colleges in the state. The classes are the small size of an expensive private college for the price of a public school. Wayne State is a state funded college and as a result tuition is significantly cheaper than any of the bigger universities and they have way more scholarships available. If you end up not liking the dorms, you can always live off campus for even cheaper after your freshman year. Another big plus: parking is only $50 for the whole year.
