Western Illinois has many things available to students, including a health center on campus and a great recreational facility. The various organizations on campus make it easy to get involved without taking too much time away from school work. I think the school is a great to go to find yourself and get out of your comfort zone. Coming from a big city, Macomb seemed small at first but I like the close knit atmosphere. The teachers here care about their students and I enjoy that.

Western Illinois University has taught me to grow up and live on my own, yeah maybe it isn't the perfect, most prestigious school, but it has taught me so much. I would recommend western to any person that ever asked how I liked it. There is absolutely nothing I would or could complain about as far as the schooling!

Western Illinois University is an exciting four year college that is just the right size. There are hundreds of clubs, sports, Greek life, and activities to choose from and there is DEFINITELY something for everyone. The class sizes are small so you can get the attention you need and the teachers/staff are always very friendly and more than willing to help.
