The teachers from Western State are voted the best of the state of Colorado. The teacher to student ratio is 20:1. Since the school and class sizes are small, you receive a lot of one-on-one action and the teachers make sure you know the material before moving on. I have learned so much that I bipassed in high school. The teachers teach subjects in a way that in interesting and attention grabbing. You will never get bored and will be excited to go to class the next time.

The campus here is beautiful and the professors are amazing, but the amount of partying that happens is excessive. Also, it does cost quite a lot of money if you are going to be living on campus. Lastly, I would give this University a 6 on a 1 - 10 scale because they have a quality education but the way they deal with students and problems is not very good.

Its a great school to get out of your parents life and start your own. Academics are pretty solid and challenge you a lot. If nothing else its in a tourist town with a lot of outdoor activites and quite a few indoor.

WSCU is a very laid back environment, teachers are very nice and will always help you. The people at WSCU are very friendly and will help you find your way around the town. However, the school spirit needs a boost!!!!

A beautiful mountain town nestled in the Rockies. Amazing outdoor opportunities and ways to get involved due to small campus size. Small class sizes let you get the help you need and know your professors on a personal level.
