Western Technical College is a public, 2-year institution established in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Degree-seeking students attending Western have the option to enroll in both associate’s degree programs and apprenticeship programs in order to prepare for their future careers. Eligible students can apply for the Credit for Prior Learning program, which can potentially save both time and money for students who have applicable skills upon entering college. Western’s campus features a variety of facilities to improve students’ quality of life, such as the Student Health Center, the Learning Commons, and the Kumm Center, which is home to the culinary programs’ student-operated restaurant.
on a scale of 1 to 10; i would rate western at an 8. i absolutely love it there, the atmosphere, the people everything. i think they could use some improving on their wireless internet connections and the parking situation.

It's beautiful, cultural, and new! I'm excited to be attending there in the fall, because I fell in love when I went on the tour. Also, it's surrounded by active students.
