WWU’s faculty can be characterized as innovative, challenging, and accommodating. Most every classroom is equipped with the technology to allow for multi-media presentations, so you will never have a talking head professor. The professors try to cater to every type of learner through these different mediums and apply what you learn to the real world. For me, this type of instruction included completing a project that will be used by Western faculty and affect the way they teach. You will never go hungry for knowledge with the fast paced and interactive classroom environment. Speaking up and speaking out in class...

Western Washington-being one of the most recommended schools for me to pursue in my Marine Biologist career path, is located right next to the water; thus making it's location prime for those who want a beautiful campus and scenery. My father graduated from Western and highly suggests it, and after taking a tour around the campus myself, I do too. The staff is friendly, the grounds are beautiful, there are plenty of opportunities to build and grow as a student, great representation of different ethnicities, and new buildings being built right now as well as beautiful architecture from the older buildings!

The campus of Western is really beautiful and the interactive sculpture garden is a great plus. Other than the campus, Western has a ton of resources and plenty to do outside of class. Class sizes are not bad and the professors focus on undergrad education!

My sister graduated from Western, and she came back a completely different person. Western taught her to be insightful, open-minded, and responsible. Western is a college where you can get an amazing education for a very low price.

This is one of the most beautiful schools in the state of Washington. I would highly advise anyone considering this school to take a tour and see just what it is like. I have toured the campus more than five times and still find interesting and cool parts that I've never seen before.

WWU is an incredible place to learn and live. It is small enough to not get lost in the crowd and recognize others while walking around but big enough to never be bored and continually meet new people. Nothing bad to report.
