Westmont is known for many things, but the thing that separates us from any other college are the study abroad opportunities that Westmont offers. There is a study abroad group that goes to a different country every semester. Some of these locations include the Israel/ Jerusalem trip, Westmont in Mexico, Europe semester, and third party groups that go to places such as Uganda! Not only does Westmont encourage studying abroad, but they make it possible. Studying abroad costs the exact same as a semester at Westmont would cost, you just have to pay for your flight tickets to get there! Even if you can't study abroad, there are smaller "abroad" opportunities every Spring Break. I attended Potter's Clay this past Spring Break which is a week long mission trip in Ensenada, Mexico. Westmont does this trip every Spring Break and it has become a huge tradition throughout the years. With different teams you can be a part of, the teams of Potter's Clay leaders pick the job that they feel you will be the best at! Nothing beats a week in beautiful Baja California, serving people, and sharing the word of the Lord.

If you are a Christian looking to grow in your relationship with God, this school provides such great growth in terms of relationships, mentors, and Christian academia. You learn in class and through organizations like Urban Initiative Outreach in Santa Barbara, SF, and Utah, Potter's Clay going to Mexico, studying abroad, or the Intercultural Programs for the most part about other issues in the world how to become involved with the world. There is a lot of resources. I will leave this college with faith stronger than it has ever been before.

I think it is worth the money. You get professors who care about you, good food, and great friends. Also, the campus is beautiful.

It;s super expensive. I'm still trying to figure out if it's worth it. However other state schools and UC's are so impacted that you may not get the classes you need to graduate. At Westmont you're guaranteed to graduate in 4 years. This may not be the case at state schools and UC's.

Yes! In the end it was less expensive then the public schools I applied to. The individualized attention and rigorous academics make this an amazing deal!
