Clubs and Activities
Student Senate AIHEC commity- goal is to get students to the consortium once a year and compete in academic and sporting events with other tribal colleges froma cross the nation.
Great for these types of students
Anyone return after an absence from school. Great for native americans but other races as well.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
There is alot of native american culture integrated into our classrooms.
What to do for fun
There are always events going on at the college. There is the casino and Detroit Lakes is only half an hour away. Being in northern Minnesota we are out doors people all year round.
Food and Dining
There is a Subway and a small cafe that offers good home cooking for little money. There is also a casino that has several restaurants in it.
There is none.
There are some tough instructors here but their goal is to make sure you are learning what you need to in orader to further your schooling or continue to a four year college. Small classes allow for more one on one with your instructors.
Tips for prospective students
Make sure and take 15-18 credits per semester to graduate in 2 years. Get involved in Student Senate or the A.I.H.E.C. commitee.

A great starting place to get back into the flow of college. Has an exceptional family community feel. I am so glad I decided to start here.
