Wichita state is a step up from community colleges but doesn't quite reach the quality of education from private colleges. WSU is the perfect University for those looking for an education that doesn't cost a fortune. It is a diverse campus and holds several opportunities through internships and research projects.

WSU currently has a smaller population, but still has many benefits of a bigger school, with the additional bonus of a smaller student-to-teacher ratio. It's a good hometown school. It's a nice alternative to K-State or KU. However, there's not much of a draw for outside students that I know of.

Wichita State University is a great college with a lot of majors to choose from. Class sizes are small for most classes, some general courses may have larger class size. Everyone is always really helpful too!
