WSU is a good school specifically for nursing and education majors. The town of Winona is pretty quaint. The school in general doesn't have a whole lot to offer compared to other larger universities in Minnesota.

Winona is a nice school. It's a small town so there's not much to do. There is little to no diversity in students and professors.

I am a freshman at Winona. I have learned that you definately have to use your time wisely and study! Classes are definately harder than high school. If you fall behind in a class take advantage of tutors available! College life is fun, you have your independence! But remember in the long run you will have to pay back your loans so make sure you have a degree to show for it.
