This university is very challenging,but in a good way ! The school has a strict add/drop policy and attendance in courses are mandatory for a passing grade. The school is a part of the UNC system and is on the plus/minus system (i.e. A+,A,A-,B+,B,B-,C+,C,C-,D+,D,D-,F)

Academic are rigorous, however there is the student center that offers tutoring for studets. WSSU also has a writing center that will assist you with writing issues.

The academic rigor isn't bad at all. You just have to make sure that you make time for the work that they assign and dedicate yourself to do it. The professors are always available and easy to reach and they want you to succeed.

You get what you work for. It is college you will actually have to study this time around it is not like high school where you might be able to cram overnight. There is a lot if information that will be given to you, a good amount of work and all you have to do is be persistent and you will survive until graduation.
