College life here has been a ride for me. A lot of good times and a lot of bad times as well. In order to keep a balance of the good and bad, I have to constantly remain focused on my main goals in order to have an great and meaningful experience at Winthrop University overall.

Winthrop has a beautiful, historic campus - along with some new and updated buildings. The class sizes are fairly small, usually around 20 - 30 students depending on the subject. The campus is easy to navigate and get around, and you won't need a car to travel from class to class.

winthrop has a beautiful campus and a pretty diverse student population. the classes are very difficult, and at times the degree requirements can be unclear and overwhelming, but you also have access to help outside the classroom and a small enough campus to get around. athletes may be disappointed with the student turnout at games and meets, and the coliseum is about a mile off campus, making carpooling important.

Faculty passionate and willing to help but the staff does lose paperwork at times. The food is good and it is a gorgeous campus that is just the right size. Large variety of clubs and classes that are interesting and cover many interests; also love the lake!

The campus here is beautiful, especially when the trees began to change color during the fall. People here are very nice, and they believe in not judging someone first off. I like it here, the only problem is, everything you don't want to do on campus is only reachable by car.
