    Register early as well as complete your fasfa for that year, along with applying for the opportunity grant, if you qualify. Utilize their counseling and advising center when you are having trouble in any course. Study for the compass (placement test) in advanced, expect the test to take 3 hours.

    When you sign up for classes make sure you pick actual classes you want otherwise you will be put in ones you might not want to. Also, know your registration date ahead so you know what classes you want right away. Otherwise you will get wait-listed.
