Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine

Dothan, AL, USA

The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine holds the distinction of being Alabama’s first osteopathic medical school. As such, ACOM is also relatively new arrival on the med school scene, holding its first classes in 2013. After spending two years on science coursework, ACOM students move on to a more clinical focus during the latter half of their schooling. Every year, 20 ACOM students travel to Montgomery to participate in rotations at Jackson Hospital.
