American Academy of Art College
The American Academy of Art is a small, private, 4-year institution established in Chicago, Illinois. The Academy offers nine bachelor’s degree programs: Illustration and Digital Illustration, Life Drawing, Oil or Watercolor Painting, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, 3-D Modeling & Animation, Art Direction, and Photography. First-year students at The Academy enroll in a core curriculum called Foundation Studies, which prepares students with the fundamentals of professional artistry. The college also offers a Humanities and Sciences core curriculum, which features interdisciplinary learning, academic research opportunities, and collaborative projects.
