Founded by the pastor of the Apex First Baptist Church, Apex School of Theology is a Christian institution in North Carolina’s Research Triangle providing ministry training for both clergy and faith community leaders. ASOT offers a bachelor’s degree in Theology and four master’s degree programs in Divinity, Christian Counseling, Biblical Counseling, and Christian Education. Through Apex Distance Education, the ASOT bachelor’s program and three master’s degrees are available entirely online. As a Christian institution, ASOT holds weekly chapel services and attendance is mandatory for all students who have classes on the same day as chapel.
