Did learn a lot
I took a semester of online classes at ACC, and I'd have to say, I really learned a lot from them! They go much more in depth into the subjects that you are studying than in high school. They had many projects that we did with each lesson, which really expands your knowledge. I felt like I've learned more in these semester long classes than I learned in a few years in high school. Pretty much though, you get out as much as you put in. If you want to learn a lot, you have to put in the effort. These classes allow you to get a lot out of them.
Did enjoy being here
I can't say too much about the campus because I did online classes. I can say that navigating all of the links and everything in the online classes was real easy. All of the students in my classes were dedicated to learning and I learned almost as much from them as I did from the teacher. As far as the actual campus, for the few times that I've been there I could say that it is a very nice campus and in general the people are nice there.
Bang for the buck
Online classes cost a little bit more than actually going to the campus, but the classes you take there, at least the required classes that I took, are definitely worth the money that you spend. It's cheaper than most other colleges and you get a good education there.
Tips for prospective students
Taking your required classes at ACC is a great way to go. I haven't taken any classes regarding my major there, so I can't say how well that is. But The required classes are definitely worth it to take there.
Great for these types of students
ACC is great for busy people because it gives you a lot of freedom as to assignments classes. It's also great for people who don't have much money for college and get your required classes out of the way. The credits are easily transferable, but make sure that they can be transferred. Any type of student, no matter your GPA, will get a lot out of classes at ACC.

Am learning a lot
My professors have been very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subjects they teach!
Am enjoying being here
The staff at ACC is very accommodating to the needs of students. Speak out and you will be heard!
Bang for the buck
ACC is affordable and personable. I take guaranteed transfer courses that will contribute to my bachelors degree in health science at a four year school.
Tips for prospective students
Take guaranteed transfer courses! Look into where you would like to transfer as soon as possible as well because not all schools will accept these credits and the sooner you know where you are transferring, the sooner you will know which classes can transfer for your degree.
Great for these types of students
Students with financial need, students not ready for the demands of a rigorous university, students who need academic flexibility

I really enjoy the environment at the school it is very conducive to learning and the teachers are very invested in the students and their education.

I love the community college, it feels like there is more diversity, especially in regards to age and background, it makes for a really great networking environment.
Bang for the buck
I was surprised to find out that the teachers at community colleges were held to the same standards in most respects as their peers at four year colleges. Considering the large difference in tuition, ACC is an incredible value. The only issue I have is the transfer eligibility of the credits taken at a community college, unless the classes you take are general transfer credits, the chance of the classes you take transferring over to the four year colleges and universities is up in the air. If there were solid transfer agreements in place outside of general transfer credits, I would absolutely give ACC five stars.
Tips for prospective students
Community college is the perfect place to figure out what you want your career path to be. Be smart and go to a community college for at least your general education credits, they're guaranteed to transfer, the classes are so much smaller, and you'll save quite a bit of money. Also, something I wish I knew in high school was that you can take community college classes while you're in high school. Ask your counselors about concurrent enrollment! You can take general transfer courses and get them out of the way before you even get to college!
Great for these types of students
From personal experience, ACC is a very diverse and accepting environment. I've had anywhere from high school age students to students close to retirement age in my classes. Whether you're a traditional student, high school student, or non-traditional/adult student, I would highly recommend ACC. The staff is incredible, the classes are the right size for individualized attention, and the students are a great community to be a part of.

Am learning a lot
The teachers are great at teaching and are there for you, but some of them just lecture and that's kind of boring, we all know it.
Am enjoying being here
It's easy to get around and has a calm atmosphere.
Bang for the buck
I got great scholarships and grants from the school! Pays off to do well in high school [;
Tips for prospective students
Make sure you have a map and look at it BEFORE classes start. Be prepared to take lots of notes and have tons of homework for specific classes.
Great for these types of students
Anyone looking to try to find a cheap route of two years of community then two years of a university.

The teachers are very willing to answer questions and try to teach you in ways that each student will understand. You can tell most of the teachers really want you to succeed.

Its a fun campus. Theres a lot of random free food days!! We have frisbee golf, tennis courts, and a garden. Its right in the middle of downtown Littleton which is a really fun town, and its right across the street from the light rail station. Other than the pushy people trying to get you to donate money, its really nice here.
Bang for the buck
Its a community college, so its about as affordable as college gets. Financial aid helps out a lot. We have work study programs, which is great. The amount I am learning is well worth the cost.
Tips for prospective students
Take advantage of the free food days! haha!

ACC has an amazing art department! The teachers are all wonderful and I am blown away with how much they have taught me. It is a great starting point for an art career.
