When you first get to ASU, you will be overwhelmed with the dining selections. You can make a sandwich, pasta, burgers, pizza, salads, and so much more just in one dining hall. However, as the semester goes on, I started to get a bit tired of some of the food. But the good thing about ASU is that I can walk to other dining halls with different selections, or the MU which has many different restaurants, like Qdoba and Einstein Bros. You can use what is called M&G dollars (maroon and gold) to purchase things at the MU and some other places on campus. You automatically get a certain amount of M&G dollars on your suncard depending on what meal plan you go with.

I don't know about the other dining halls, but Barrett has a great food selection. There's healthy meals, pasta, burgers, vegan meals, stir-fry, custom sandwiches, and pizza every day, plus a menu that changes daily and sometimes includes sushi. There is a great breakfast and a salad and fruit bar. And did I mention the ice cream/gelato bar?

The dining halls produce decent food, but it is often too crowded and the food becomes repetitive very quickly.
