AU confers degrees, diplomas, and certificates in over 50 undergrad and graduate academic programs. The university also features the Athabasca University transfer credit evaluation that enables students to transfer credits earned for previous education toward an AU diploma. Additionally, AU utilizes an open admission policy where any student at least 16 years of age can apply for undergraduate admission and be accepted.
