Brigham Young University-Provo is a private research institution located in Provo, Utah, and founded by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. BYU offers study abroad programs through their satellite campuses in more than 20 sites, including London, Jerusalem, and Paris, and 65% of the student population speaks a second language. Tuition, which is steeply discounted for LDS church members, is largely funded by church donations, and Forbes listed the school as the #3 on the list of America’s Best Value Colleges.
Brigham young stands as a precedent for student education. It is a pinnacle of cleanliness of word and of character. It is a school like no other with the honor code as a standing tradition to be upheld by the students and the faculty.

BYU is an academically rigorous school, however education is also focused on instilling strong moral values and producing honest, hardworking individuals who can contribute to society in various ways. There are lots of opportunities for students to get involved on campus and students in general are very kind and friendly here. The professors expect students to work hard, but are generally willing to assist students when needed. This is a great school!
