Established in 1974, Christ the King Seminary is a private, Christ-centered institution located in East Aurora, New York. The college offers four postgraduate programs including a Master of Arts in Theology, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry, and a Master of Divinity with options for a three or four-year track. In order to develop personal discipline and priestly virtues, students at Christ the King have the opportunity to choose his own spiritual director from among either the seminary faculty or other designated priests. Academics at Christ the King feature a daily schedule of prayer and meditation as well as the Formation Program, which includes an annual formation meeting, an annual retreat or recollection day, and several workshops and seminars.
