College of the Sequoias (COS) is a public two-year community college in Visalia, one of three campuses in the COS system. The college was established in 1926 and moved to its current 62-acre main campus site in Visalia in 1940. The Visalia main campus is the home of Nursing and Allied Health, as well as COS’ agriculture programs. Visalia students can also apply for the school’s Bernice Arnett Wilke scholarship, which awards a student $12,000 for their field of study.
