What Students Are Saying

the food at the commons is mediocre at best. i label this 3 stars because i have not been to other universities to compare csub's food to. the food is nothing great just average food as if you were back in your high school cafeteria.
Julian from Adelanto, CA
The food is good, well cooked and has a different variety everyday. A lot of people complain about the food in the dining commons because they don't give it a chance. Other places to eat are the Runner Cafe, Peet's Coffee and The Roost.
Ashlianna from Lancaster, CA
the food and dinning at the commons is great because they cook a variety of meals. if there is a meal one does not like there are dinning dollars to be able o go buy at other food place in campus.
Alejandra from Bakersfield, CA
There are not a lot of food choices on campus and the very little there is it is not the best, however, CSUB is in the prime location of Bakersfield and great food can be found 2 mins from the campus!
Aaron from Bakersfield, CA
CSUB has an excellent cafeteria and delicious food. Fast food restaurants are near to the school.
GV from Bakersfield, CA

The runner cafe is a great place to eat. Peet's cafe serves the the best coffee. My favorite The Roost serves delicous chicken wings.
