For international student it is a great school to start with. There are many possibilities to transfer to a different place if you would like to. Professors are always ready to help even thought it's not there office hours.
For the first term i suggest to take 6 classes, but for the following terms 5 or less.
Honors programs are not that intensive so if you are a good student you can easily handle more than 2 honors classes.
Try to avoid living in the dorm if finance isn't a problem.
