Founded in 1885, Goucher College is a private liberal arts institution based in Towson, Maryland. Goucher College places academic focuses on the “3Rs: Relationships, Resilience, and Reflection.” The campus is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, but it's also home to LEED gold-certified buildings, wooded trails, and equestrian riding fields and stables. All students are required to study abroad and programs are offered in Costa Rica, South Africa, Israel, Thailand, and more.
Goucher is a school for those in search of incredible opportunity. Their travel abroad and arts programs are what caught my eye initially, but now the close-knit community feel and beautiful campus has me excited about attending this school, too. The people are friendly, the location is beautiful, and majors are exciting.
