With campus a short distance from the Willamette River, Gutenberg College is a 4-year liberal arts college in western Oregon. Gutenberg’s liberal arts curriculum is founded in a study of the Great Books of western civilization and all students read an average of over 160 books throughout their college careers. Faculty members at Gutenberg are known as tutors and all courses eschew lectures in favor of a discussion format. The campus’ location in downtown Eugene provides easy access to numerous cultural attractions including museums of art and natural history.
