From its campus blocks away from The White House, The Institute of World Politics is a graduate school focusing on national security and international affairs. IWP offers five master’s degree programs in subjects such as Strategic Intelligence Studies and Statecraft as well as 18 certificate-granting programs including Peace Building, Strategic Soft Power, and Conflict Prevention. To provide additional expertise, IWP draws its faculty from officials who have worked at the highest levels of government in their respective fields. Throughout the school year, students are invited to submit for inclusion in IWP’s Student Speaker Series in order to gain experience presenting their areas of expertise in a public forum.
