One of the first schools of osteopathic medicine in the United States, Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences is a graduate-level medical school with campuses in Kansas City and Joplin, Missouri. As one of the largest med schools in the region, KCU provides the second-most physicians of any school in both Missouri and Kansas. KCU is comprised of the Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine and Biosciences, which offer doctorates in Psychology and Osteopathic Medicine.
