Lees-McRae College is situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains and has the highest elevation of any college in the eastern United States. In addition to transcripts and test scores, the university accepts but does not require resumes, letters of recommendation, or writing samples. Lees-McRae College houses their students and, in some cases, pets, in residence halls, cottages, apartments, and houses on campus. The school is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.
Lees-McRae is an amazing place to go to school. Because it is a small school its easy to find people who are into the same things as you, and creating opportunities for yourself and others to try new things is always encouraged. I really enjoy school here.

Lees McRae College is a very diverse campus with any and all type of persons attending. The college is small, yet it's heart is large, and it's students and faculty are very involved in helping the school as well as helping the small community it's in. Lees McRae is always expanding to better fit the needs of its students and listens to what its students have to say.
