Room and Board
The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
(amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
+ amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
+ amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. A great school, better than what I thought. I am glad to say that I'm a student, very challenging academically and spiritually. I would not choose to go to another university.
What makes LeTourneau such an incredible university is the people. The students, professors, resident directors, and even the cafeteria workers all care about you and help you to succeed. There is a unique kind of Christian love and support that permeates the entire campus.
Kimberly from Spring, TX
letourneau has a top notch engineering program that teaches students to learn and grow in every aspect of the classroom. the professors push and drive their students to work hard while still encouraging them and reasonably listening to the requests and needs of the students. the campus provides a large enough area to find quiet areas and a small enough community to build meaningful relationships with hall mates, classmates, faculty, and staff.
