Founded by Norwegian immigrants, Luther College is a 4-year liberal arts college in northeast Iowa affiliated with the Lutheran Church. Luther confers bachelor’s degrees in more than 60 academic majors and preprofessional programs. For students interested in music performance, Luther hosts six choral and 11 instrumental ensembles. As a sustainable institution, Luther is home to a wind turbine, student-run organic garden, and one of the largest solar fields in Iowa.
