Maharishi University of Management

Fairfield, IA, USA
3.80 Average Rating

Founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the Maharishi University of Management is built on the idea of “consciousness-based education,” which encourages students to gain deep self-knowledge while earning undergrad and advanced degrees. MUM has programs in 10 academic departments that all run on a block schedule, meaning students only take one course at a time. Located in Fairfield, Iowa, the 370-acre campus is home to a 60,000-square-foot recreation center and a dining hall featuring an entirely organic vegetarian menu, the first American institution of higher learning to offer such a food plan. MUM is also the first university in the country to offer bachelor’s programs in Sustainable Living and Consciousness & Human Potential

  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
