Mary Immaculate College

Mary Immaculate College (MIC), founded in 1898, is Ireland’s leading university-level College of Education and Humanities, with a growing and diverse community of almost 5,000 students. With a centrally-located campus in a leafy suburb just ten minutes’ walk from the picturesque riverside city center of Limerick, MIC offers affordable education opportunities to students. Additionally, our international students can have the option to complete some degrees in just 3 years and save the tuition payments of a fourth academic year. All qualifications from MIC are fully recognised internationally, allowing students the opportunity to use their qualification in any country around the world or back at home in the US.

Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.
